We've had an off day today.
Kyle woke up around 3:00am and wanted to eat... Brent fed him and he went back to sleep...
Emily woke up around 3:30am and wanted to play.... I stayed up with her until around 5:30am, when I put her in her swing and went to pump. When I was done pumping she fell asleep.
When it was time for a morning nap, both babies weren't feeling well. Kyle had already thrown up twice at this point. I cuddled with Kyle until he fell asleep and Brent cuddled with Emily. Emily was almost asleep when Brent put her in the crib with Kyle.
The babies were awake for about an hour, they ate, threw up, and then went back to sleep - both on their own in the crib.
In the afternoon, Kyle had a doctor's appointment, and he slept to and from the hospital. While we were gone, Emily slept for about a half an hour. We tried to get them to sleep more, but the babies just wanted to play.
We were getting ready to feed the babies their dinner time veggies, and Kyle decided to throw up all over our bed and all over himself. Brent took a shower with him to get him all clean, and while Kyle was in the shower with Brent, Emily decided she wanted to throw up too. So Emily also got to shower with Brent. This kind of threw off our bedtime routine because they didn't need baths anymore. We played for a bit and then did the rest of our normal bedtime stuff.
Kyle fell asleep eating most of his bottle.Kyle woke up after a little bit and finished his bottle and then went back to sleep.
Emily fell asleep for a little while and then decided she wanted to wake up and play. She currently is swinging and singing to herself.
We also discovered a little bit ago that when tearing the sheets and stuff off our bed to wash them (after both babies threw up all over our bed).... Brent's cell phone ended up in the wash machine :( It's currently in rice to see if it can be saved...
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day....
Update: Emily finally fell asleep around 11:30pm
