The Beach!

Becasue Kyle and Emily were born in Delaware, I figured they would be crazy about "the shore" or "the beach" like everyone else around here is. So, with the help of Aunt Kara we tested out this theory and went to Ocean City New Jersey today.

First, we wandered on the boardwalk for a while with the stroller. Kyle and Emily seemed to enjoy that, as they do most stroller rides. After the big people ate, we headed back to the car to ditch the stroller and everything we didn't need for the water.

We found a nice little spot on the beach for the blankie and put the swim diapers on the babies. (They already had sunscreen on, FYI) Then we went into the water; it was a little chilli, but not too bad.

Emily DID NOT like the sand or the water. She screamed whenever she touched it, just like when we had her at the lake.

Kyle on the other hand was very curious and seemed to enjoy the sand and didn't even mind the cool water. (And yes, I did have a bathingsuit on)

It was a fun and short trip, but the babies (and mommy) were very happy to be back at home.

These are the only pictures we got, we forgot the camera in the car and it was hard to see what we were taking pictures of with my phone. Plus, making sure the babies were safe and happy in/around the water was WAY more important than taking pictures!
