The Beach! The Beach! The Beach!

Well... it really was a lake with a little bit of a sandy sore, but because everyone out here makes such a big deal out of "the beach", I thought that I would call it the beach :) We went with some of the people that I used to work with and just hung out and ate good food!

Emily wasn't too sure about the water and then sand. She was okay when her feet were just in the water, but as soon as she felt sand, so cried and pulled her legs up. She's like her mommy, she doesn't like sandy feet!

Kyle didn't seem to mind too much. He kicked a little and dug his feet into the same. He can take barefoot walks on the beach with Grandma while Mommy and Emily were shoes :)

Brent was trying to teach Kyle to fish... he didn't seem all that interested.

And just in case you were wondering.... my kids were covered in sunscreen :) A dermatologist even watched me put in on! So, follow their example and make sure you were sunscreen to prevent skin cancer!
