Yes, we are twins! Every once in a while Mommy dresses us alike :)
We're six weeks old!
I can't believe my babies are already six weeks old! They are growing up so fast and we are trying to enjoy every minute of it.
The only thing I don't like about being a twin mommy is all of the comments and extra attention I get in public when I have both the babies. Everyone that notices I have two feels like they have to say something. About half of the time, they say whatever they have to say to whoever they are with... and the other half they say it to me. It doesn't bother me if they just "oh, twins!" or something along those lines and keep on walking. But so many people feel the need to stop and gawk at them, which I really don't like. And then I get the comments "oh, double trouble" or "you have your hands full" and other such things. One lady the other day said "I think I would just have to kill my self if I had twins" - I responded "Good thing God gave them to me then" and walked away. My favorite comment so far has been "how far apart are they?" and I responded "six minutes". The lady then said "so must be they aren't twins then?" I wish I would have had something witty to say, but I just kindly told her they were twins and walked away. The other common question I get is "so, you got your boy and your girl, so now you're done right?" Some people do say nice things though. Yesterday a lady said "how sweet, a double blessing" and then kept on walking. I really do like those comments :)
