Kyle and Emily seem to be gaining about an ounce a day! We took Emily to the doctor this morning because she has been throwing up so much of her food still. Her doctor wants us to try to feed her a little less. He thinks her "eyes are bigger than her stomach" and she is eating too much. So far...so good...
They weighed her just to make sure she is getting enough food... and she is 6lbs6oz! I can't believe how big she's getting!! Brent weighed Kyle with his clothes and diaper on and he was 8lbs6oz... so he's probably just over 8lbs naked.
We also noticed that Kyle is just about too long for his newborn sleep'n'plays (Jammies). He has been just wearing onsies the past couple days because it has been so hot, but it's a little cooler today, so I decided to put clothes on them. Looks like I am going to have to break out some of the 0-3 month jammies for him. The newborn onsies should still be okay for a little bit longer - they don't have to fit his crazy long legs!
Emily will still be in newborn clothes for a while - she needs to grow a couple more inches before she'll be too long. Most of the newborn clothes are still a little bit for her.
They both are still wearing newborn diapers. My guess is that Kyle will still be for another week or two and Emily will for another month or so...
