Two Weeks Old

I can't believe it.... Emily and Kyle are two weeks old today! It seems like we were just going to the hospital wondering if I was actually in labor!

We are all still doing well. Both of the babies are a little congested, but nothing too bad. It's a little tricky to get the buggies out of the noses because the buggy suckers are too big for their noses, but we get a little bit at a time with tissues and such.

We have a decent routine down. The babies eat every three hours and after the eat, they get diaper changes and outfit changes if needed. We are bathing a baby everyday, so they each get a bath every other day.

Both of the babies are doing well with sleeping. Most of the time we are having to wake them up to eat every three hours (per doctor's orders). It's a little rough at night as I have a tendency to turn my alarm off without waking up... then I wake up a half an hour later and try to figure out if the babies need to be fed or not. Neither Brent or I function very well right when we wake up, so it makes nights interesting, but we are getting better :)

Emily like to be awake in the morning after "breakfast" and Kyle likes to be awake in the late afternoon after "linner" (the meal between lunch and dinner).

Both babies are starting to show more and more of their personalities. Emily is very laid back and content. Kyle is a bit more fussy and likes more attention. It will be fun to keep watching them grow and watching their personalities develop.

Brent and I are enjoying being parents and loving on Emily and Kyle.
