A Trip to Michigan and a Trip to the Hospital

Last week we were able to go home to Michigan for a whole week! It's the longest we have been home since moving to Delaware. We left on Friday around 5 pm and got to my mom's house around 3:30 am on Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon we had a baby shower with my family and friends in the area. It was a lot of fun and we got lots of things for Kyle and Emily. Saturday night we headed to Battle Creek to the Christmas musical at Calvary and then spent the night at Brent's parents' house. Sunday we went to Calvary for church, had lunch with Mom and Dad, Aunt Judy, Uncle Randy, and Aunt Debbie - and then headed back to Williamston on the snowy roads! Monday night we did Christmas with my family and then just kinda hung out until Wednesday. On Tuesday we were able to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson for a little bit. Wednesday night we headed back to Battle Creek. On Thursday we went to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Cary and celebrated Christmas with them. Brent then headed to Indiana with Jason (his brother in law) to help move stuff, and I went to another baby shower with Brent's family and friends in Battle Creek. This shower was also fun and we got more things for Kyle and Emily! Friday we celebrated Christmas with Brent's family. Saturday we celebrated Grandma's 75th birthday, hung out with some friends, and playing games with Mom, Alyssa, and Shane. Sunday we went to Northeastern and Calvary for church. After church, my mom and Mike and Kara came down to meet us and we had lunch with them, Brent's parents and Alyssa and Shane. And then... we made the long trip back to Delaware. We had a great time in Michigan with all of our family and friends! Thank you to everyone who made our trip enjoyable and who took part in the Christmas celebrations and Baby Showers.

On Monday afternoon I started having really bad pain in my belly and it kept getting really hard. I called my doctor and they told me to head over to the hospital. Apparently I was really dehydrated and that's what was causing the problems. After checking to make sure everything was okay with the babies and getting my re-hydrated, I was sent home with instructions to drink LOTS of water. I have felt much better since - just have been exhausted.
