Four Year Old Birthday Party!

Today we had Emily and Kyle's birthday party! We sort of had two actually. Around lunch time we had one at our house, and then we went out to dinner in Battle Creek with more family that wasn't able to make it to the party at lunch time... we were bad though and only took pictures at the one at our house.

Colby got to open his birthday present from Aunt Alyssa and Uncle Shane since they weren't able to come to his birthday party...

Kyle opened a card from Aunt Lois with money in it and goes "Now I can buy anything I want!"

Kyle wants McQueen cup cakes... I tried... I don't think they looked much like McQeen, but he did and he loved them!

Two Months Old!

Mr Peyton is two months old! It's been a very long two months, but at the same time, it has flown by quickly! 

Peyton was sleeping when I had a chance to take his pictures... so there are only two.. and he's sound asleep!

The boy loves to sleep! He normally takes one long nap during the day between 3 and 4 hours, and then a few short naps. At night, he normally goes to sleep around 8:00pm or so, eats about 11:00pm and then sleeps until 3:00 or 4:00am, eats again, and then goes back to sleep until 7:30 or so. He's starting to be awake for longer periods of time, but still sleeps a lot!

Peyton also loves boob! The kid is a champ at nursing. During the day he normally nurses every 2 to 3 hours and is pretty efficient at nursing.

He's not so much a fan of tummy time, but can hold his head up and look around for short periods of time.

Peyton is starting to look around and watch what is going on around him. When the big kids are playing, he seems like he is interested in what's going on.

Peyton is such a sweet blessing and we are so thankful for the littlest man of the house!
