Yesterday Kyle wore his helmet most of the day. When we took it off last night for baths, he had a big red spot. We were told that if irritation doesn't go away within twenty minutes or so of taking the helmet off, not to put it back on until we talk to the "helmet place." So we left it off him last night and I called them this morning. They told me just to leave it off of him for today and they will check it all out tomorrow when we go in for our first adjustment.
The poor little dude still has a red spot on his head this morning. It doesn't seem to bother him, but it looks like it hurts.
Emily is enjoying some extra snuggles from her bother without his "bowling ball" (as Daddy calls it).

Our Schedule These Days...
6:30am - Mommy wakes up and pumps so the babies have milk for breakfast
7:00am - Daddy gives babies bottles and them puts them in their swings (in our bedroom). If they got back to sleep shortly, we let them sleep. Otherwise we play for a little bit and normally by 8:00am they are ready to go back to sleep.
9:00am - Mommy feeds the babies a fruit mixed with cereal. The favorite so far seems to be bananas and cereal (The other option so far has been apples and cereal). Once they are done eating, they normally hang out in there saucers for a while.
10:30am - (or whenever they get cranky) The babies finish whatever is left from their morning bottles and Nap Time for babies
11:30am/Noonish - When the babies wake up, Mommy gives them bottles and then we play
1:30pm - (or whenever they start to get cranky) Nap Time for babies
2:30pm/3:00pm - When the babies wake up, we play until they decide that they are hungry and then we give them bottles and then play.
4:30pm - Sometimes a nap for the babies and sometimes not
6:00pm - Mommy feeds the babies a vegetable (so far, we have only tried Sweet Potatoes and Carrots) and then they play in the saucers for a little while to get all of their extra energy out
6:45pm - Bed Time! This includes baths, reading the Bible, praying, and bottles
11:30pm - Dream feed
11:45pm - Mommy and Daddy to to sleep!
Each time they get a bottle, Kyle's has 7oz and Emily's has 6oz. Although this morning I gave them each an extra oz and they finished them, so I might started making Kyle's 8oz and Emily's 7oz.
When they eat food, together they normally finish a whole serving of baby food. I'm sure that soon we will have to do two servings because they seem to gobble it all right down!
I did buy a larger variety of baby food yesterday, so over the next couple weeks, we'll get to introduce Kyle and Emily to new things!

Laptops Don't Like Breastmilk
This morning when I was pumping, I managed to spill Kyle's whole bottle of milk ALL over the laptop, myself, and the couch! The laptop was very wet, but seemed okay at the moment. I set it on it's side in front of the fan, hoping it would all dry out and be okay. Well, when I went back downstairs a couple hours later, it wouldn't turn on... it acted like it wanted to, but then shut itself off. I now have it all pulled apart sitting in front of the fan - hoping it all drys out and will be okay tomorrow!
All of our pictures of Kyle and Emily are on that computer! I haven't backed up the pictures in almost a month. I normally put the pictures on a DVD when I make a new month folder, so I would have been doing that on Thursday when Kyle and Emily turn 6 months old! Doesn't sounds like recovering my pictures will be a problem though!
Without that computer, we can't Skype. This makes me very sad! We Skype with Kara and my parents every couple days....
Without that computer, I can't upload pictures from my camera. That laptop has a SD card reader, so we normally just use that to get pictures off of the camera to share. I'm pretty sure the cord to hook the camera up to a computer is in Grandma and Grandpa Cary's basement somewhere in one of our many boxes....so without that computer, I won't be able to share all the pictures of my cute babies... (I'll only be able to share the ones that I take with my phone)....
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day and the laptop will turn on and everything will be okay....
Update: The laptop turned back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
