Past Years' Christmas Presents!

Now that we have a little bit more room... we've been starting to get some of our stuff out our Grandma and Grandpa Cary's basement... and taking some of our stuff from Grandma and Grandpa Franks' house as well.

When Emily and Kyle were still in mommy's belly, they each got a Christmas moose from Aunt Ashley and Uncle Jason for Christmas. We got them last week and have had lots of fun playing with them.

Last year for Christmas the kiddos got a Little People Nativity set from Grandma and Grandpa Eubank. We also got this out last week. Friday morning when the kids woke up and saw it, they went nuts playing with it. It kept them very entertained for several hours this past week. Somehow though, I didn't get any pictures of them playing with it on the camera... so I'll have to work on it.

Last year Emily and Kyle also got chairs from Great Grandma Johnson and Aunt Janette. They have stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Franks' house because we just haven't had room for them. We also brought these home with us last week and the kids have loves sitting in them and climbing all over them.

(Yes, Kyle does think the pink one is his... and Emily sits in the blue one so that Kyle doesn't try to fight her for the pink one!)

30 Week Prenatal Appointment

I had a prenatal appointment today. Everything is good for the most part...

I gained two pounds in the past two weeks... so I've now gained a total of 8 pounds!

My blood pressure was really low. She said its great that its that low when I'm 30 weeks pregnant!

Colby's heart rate was 132 bpm.

My belly measured at 32 weeks... so still sticking with the two weeks ahead measurements.

I've been having contractions on and off when I've been too active. The closest they've gotten together is 10 minutes, so I didn't really think it was too big of a deal. They normally slow down and go away if I just lay down and do nothing for a while. Apparently I should have called the doctor though when they were 10 minutes apart for a couple hours last week. She explained that because I had issues with pre-term labor with Emily and Kyle, that I might this pregnancy too. She says that it kind of sounds like I am starting to have some of the issues, but it also sounds like I know "the drill" with drinking water and laying down and such to see if the contractions go away. But... I am supposed to call if I am having contractions for more than an hour that won't go away with rest... and will most likely have to go in to be checked and monitored. Hopefully Emily and Kyle will let me take it easy the next two months so that we don't have to make any unplanned trips to my doctors office or OB triage!

She also said that there is a good chance that I will have Colby before 40 weeks. She explained that with twins it's very normal to have them early (which we know) but it's also common to have any babies after twins a little bit early. She said as of right now, she doesn't see me having a problem making it to 36 weeks, but the goal is 38 weeks. I think I'm going to have Colby somewhere around the 39 week mark... but we'll see... it's God's decision when Colby comes out, not mine :)

We've been trying to be better about taking more pictures... for a while we were taking over a 1000 a month... now we are lucky if we get 100! Here are some pictures from the past week :)

Our Apartment in Mason and Our House in Delaware

Our apartment in Mason still hasn't been re-leased. :(

I was finally able to talk to our landlord yesterday about the status of getting the apartment re-leased. She informed me that since we have moved out two other two bedrooms have become available due to evictions. She said she thought she had both of them filled already; she was just waiting on the new tenants to put down deposits. Once those two apartments are officially no longer available, ours will be the next one filled... unless someone else gets evicted between now and then.

Because we are still technically leasing our apartment, it can only be considered available if there are not any other units available in the complex comparable to ours. We have been putting ads online trying to find someone to re-lease our apartment and have had lots of interest and given her several names. It sounded like the two people that she's waiting for deposits from may be people who contacted us saying they were interested in our apartment. Apparently because of a law against "steering," even if its someone we find, she has to put them in the next available apartment... and ours has to be last on that list.

We have a little bit more positive news about our house in Delaware. We are officially in the foreclosure process, but are speeding things up by doing a deed-in-lieu. Our "specialist" we are working with seems to be on top of things... she even responds to most emails within a few hours! It sounds like all they are waiting for now is for the title check to come back... and as long as it comes back clean (which is should), then she will send us all the paperwork to sign our house over to the bank.

So yeah.. that's our update. Hopefully by the end of the year we'll only have one "place of residence" instead of the three currently in our name!
