Seven Months Old

Peyton is seven months old!!

A few weeks ago we started feeding Peyton solids. So far he's had peaches, bananas, and green beans. Bananas seem to be his favorite, but most of the time he seems to enjoy eating solids. He's still nursing a ton...when he's not being distracted by his crazy brothers and sister.

We've finally reached a point where Peyton is consistently sleeping through the night again! Most nights be goes to bed around 8pm and sleeps until 5am or so. He normally nurses for a while and then goes back to sleep for a couple more hours.

Nap time is very hit or miss with Peyton. He normally takes a few 20 minute naps while nursing or cuddling during the day and everyone once in a while we'll get lucky and he will take a longer afternoon nap! I think part of this has to do with the fact that he's pretty much done with a pacifier...or it may just be that he's too interested in everything going on around him!

Peyton can sit up on his own as long as someone helps put him in the sitting position. He can get from the sitting position to his belly though without any issues. He can also stand up by himself if he's holding on to something.

Peyton loves attention and does not like being left in a room alone. The big kids are pretty good at making sure he has attention... but then all of a sudden they will all leave him at once and he's not a big fan of that. He loves to interact with other people and laugh and smile at them.

Peyton rolls and crawls and moves like crazy. He can get to wherever he wants to go now! And he's a fast little dude too!

Peyton has found his voice and babbles constantly. He's also gotten pretty good at blowing raspberries!

Peyton loves to be in his saucer. He loves to be able to look around and watch the big kids. He enjoys playing the withe toys on it and bounce up and down and up and down!

Currently, Peyton is wearing mostly six month cloths. I finally pulled out the 3-6 month clothes from his dresser a few days ago and added in some of the 6-9 month stuff!

Peyton loves to grab at anything within his reach... toys, napkins, ears, noses.. pretty much anything he can get his hands on. And normally it goes right in his mouth!

Peyton's personality is start to come out more and more. It's lots of fun watching him figure out his crazy world around him. He is a blessing and brings so much joy to our lives!
