Three Months Old

This little dude is three months old today! He's getting so big!

Peyton hasn't decided if he likes to sleep or not. Some days and nights he sleeps and sleeps and sleeps... and others he's just awake.

Most days, Peyton nurses about every three hours during the day and does two five hour stretches at night. Other times.. he just eats and eats and eats and eats. The kid loves boob just as much as his big brother. He's excellent at latching and getting what he needs.

Mommy is his favorite, but he also is pretty fond of Daddy and Emily. He doesn't seem to like Aunt Kara right now for some reason.

When he's awake, Peyton enjoys laying on his play mat and swatting at his toys. He also likes sitting in his high chair at the table during meals times to be apart of what's going on.  He rolls up on his side when he's laying on his back. Today, he made it all the way over but got his arm stuck and was not happy. He's really not a fan of tummy time... he'll tolerate it for a few minutes, but lets us know when he's ready to be done. He has excellent head control and can sit up when he has something to lean against.

Reflex wise, he seems to be doing better. He started new meds about two weeks ago and they seem to help control it. His RSV also seems to be on the mend. Peyton's breathing still is raspy every once in a while and he still has a decent cough at times, but it is way better than it was.

Peyton is wearing mostly 3 month clothes. A few of the 0-3 month stuff still fits him. The 3-6 month stuff is in his drawer, but I don't think he's worn any of it yet.

Peyton easily gives smiles and giggles to mommy. He will give them to others every once in a while, but they normally have to work for them.

We still really don't have a reschedule for Peyton. He eats on demand and sleeps when he wants to. Normally he's "down for the night" around 7:30pm and "up for the day" around 7:30am.

For the most part, Peyton is still an easy and laid back baby. Hopefully he stays that way! He is such a little blessing and brings us much joy!
